A contact biopesticide containing cold pressed orange oil and surfactants in a bio-degradeable solution.
PREV-AM® is a versatile 3-in-1 contact fungicide, insecticide, and miticide that provides broad-spectrum, fast-acting control, as well as improved spray coverage. Ideal for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs as an alternate mode of action to manage pest resistance or to supplement beneficial insect release programs. PREV-AM is ideal for use before harvest as it has no pre-harvest interval (PHI) and is exempt from residue requirements on registered crops.
Features & Benefits
PREV-AM® is a versatile EPA-registered pesticide
Functions as a contact, non-residual fungicide, insecticide, and miticide
Boosted with OROWET® technology for superior compatibility, improved coverage, better canopy penetration, and more uniform spray solution applications
24 hour restricted-entry interval (REI) and 0 Days pre-harvest interval (PHI)
Mode of Action
Contact, non-residual mode of action.
Breaks down waxy layers of insect and mites’ exoskeleton causing desiccation.
Enhances penetration of spray liquid into insect and mite respiratory openings causing suffocation.
Breaks down protective layers of exposed fungal mycelium and spores causing rapid desiccation.
Broad-spectrum control against a wide range of insects, mites and diseases.
Targets pests at various stages of their lifecycle, with best efficacy when directed at the soft-bodied insects and life stages.
Leads to a collapse of pest populations and minimizes the risk of re-infestation
Low impact on natural beneficial insect populations and positive impact on predator-prey ratios.
Added Value
OROWET® Technology shows excellent compatibility, improved emulsification of spray solutions and improves coverage of spray application.
Manage resistance to pests when used as alternate mode of action in a resistance management program.
Enhance efficacy of pest control programs when used alone or in combination with other industry-standard chemistries.
Provides excellent late season protection if used shortly before, or between harvest intervals due to exemption from residue requirements
Support Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Can be alternated with beneficial insect releases and has a low impact on natural beneficial insect populations.
Impact on various life stages help support a faster collapse of pest populations or maintaining populations below threshold levels.
