WETCIT

The best penetrant for use with systemic pesticides and nutrients and an excellent spreader/wetter for foliar-applied contact pesticides

Enhance the wetting, spreading and penetration properties and will extend the coverage of the spray combinations into hard to reach areas – especially good on water repellent plant surfaces and crops with dense foliage.
Improves knockdown action of pesticides by improving contact with waxy layers of insects and external hydrophobic structures of fungi.
Does not reduce photosynthesis or transpiration often associated with the application of mineral and traditional vegetable oils.

WETCIT adjuvant, incorporating two proprietary technologies, is an excellent spreader/wetter for foliar-applied contact pesticides and also the best penetrant for use with systemic pesticides and nutrients. Highly versatile, growers can tailor the action of WETCIT by using it at a lower rate for contact pesticide applications or at higher labeled rates for its penetrating action for use with systemic applications.

WETCIT® is a cutting-edge penetrant, spreader and wetting agent for use in vegetables and broad acre crops. It serves as a highly effective non-ionic surfactant (NIS) that enhances the performance of foliar-applied pesticides and nutrients. WETCIT is certified by CPDA and free from APE and NPE for environmental safety.

General Information

WETCIT® is a highly effective surfactant designed for use with insecticides, miticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators, defoliants and nutrients. WETCIT is designed for superior spreading, penetration and uniform distribution. The Non-Ionic (NIS) chemistry in WETCIT enhances the physical and chemical properties of the spray solution and assists in overcoming water repellency of the leaf surface.

Recommended Rates

Herbicides

24-96 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water. Use higher rates on weeds with waxy or hairy leaf surfaces that are hard to penetrate.

Defoliants, Desiccants (Including Cotton Defoliants & Cotton Growth Regulators)

32-64 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

Other Plant Growth Regulators

5-10 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

Insecticides, Fungicides, Miticides, Foliar Nutrients

Air-assisted sprayers

24-64 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

Conventional sprayer in field and row crops

24-64 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

ULV equipment (such as: aerial, electrostatics, foggers and misters)

24-96 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

Through irrigation systems: such as drip, microjet, sprinklers or pivot use 1-8 pints per acre. (Not approved in CA)
