SHRAPNEL

General Information

SHRAPNEL® is an adjuvant for use with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, miticides, plant growth regulators, defoliants, desiccants and nutrients. The non-ionic (NIS) chemistry in SHRAPNEL enhances spreading and wetting properties of the spray solution and assists in overcoming water repellency of the leaf surface. SHRAPNEL can be used with products requiring an adjuvant in the agricultural, turf, ornamental, forestry, industrial vegetation management, non-cropland and other appropriate applications.

Recommended Rates

Herbicides, Defoliants, Desiccants (including cotton defoliators and cotton growth regulators)

• 32-96 fl. oz. per 100 gallons unless otherwise stated on the crop protection product label. Use at least 8 fl. oz. per acre when spray volume is less than 20 gallons per acre.

Plant Growth Regulators on Tree Crops (e.g. chemical thinners, fruit sizers, coloring agents, etc)

• 6-16 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water.

All Other Product Mixtures

• Perennial crops: 16-64 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water
• Vegetables and row crops: 24-64 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water

Backpack or Hand-Held Sprayers

• 0.5 fl. oz. per gallon of spray solution.
