MORTAR

General Information

MORTAR® is a soil-wetting agent. When applied to soil, MORTAR will improve water penetration and wetting of soil. MORTAR is also an effective spreader to improve coverage and wetting of leaf surfaces in burndown and desiccant applications.

Recommended Rates

For Soil

Use the higher rates where soil water movement is restricted by conditions such as hydrophobicity, compaction or surface crusting.

• In-furrow at planting: Use 1 to 2 pints per acre
• In broadcast tank mix solutions: Use 1 to 4 pints per acre
• Through irrigation systems such as drip, microjet, sprinklers or pivot: Use 1-8 pints per acre. (Not approved in CA)

Carefully read and follow label instructions related to this application method of the product with which MORTAR will be applied. Review your state and local regulatory requirements before applying any adjuvant or agricultural chemical through an irrigation system. For Growing Media

8 to 64 fluid ounces per ton of media (test rates prior to use).
