It acts primarily as a preventative fungicide by acting directly on the pathogen and stimulation of natural host defenses. Sysstem-K Blue is labeled in a broad range of crops including many food crops, ornamentals, turf and bedding plants. It offers a control option for several economically important disease casual agents such as Phytophthora, Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Xanthomonas, Anthracnose, and Cercospera.
Sysstem-K Blue contains potassium phosphite, with 57% phosphorous acid (derived from mono- and dipotassium salts). It acts primarily as a preventative fungicide.
Sysstem-K Blue is an EPA labeled potassium phosphite solution for control or suppression of a wide range of plant diseases in both soil and foliar applications.
See label for recommended rates for specific crops. Fill tank with 1/2 to 3/4 of desired amount of water. Start mechanical or hydraulic agitation. Add the required amount of Sysstem-K Blue, then the remaining volume of water. Set sprinkler to deliver 0.1 to 0.3 inch of water per acre. Start sprinkler and uniformly inject the solution of Sysstem-K Blue into the irrigation water line so as to deliver the desired rate per acre. Inject the Sysstem-K Blue solution with a positive displacement pump into the main line ahead of a right angle turn to insure adequate mixing.
